In our clinic, for root tip resections we employ microsurgery techniques and use glasses having four-and-half power magnification, or a surgical microscope.

To prevent osseous integration in the apical area and a new infection through bacteria from the root canal, all tooth fillings are retrograde. The root canal is first treated with diamond ultrasound and then filled with Super EBA. The use of magnifying glasses or a surgical microscope and the coloring of the cross-section of the root canal with methylene blue enable us to detect all root canals and isthmuses and fill them retrogradely.

With certain situations, we perform hemisections or root amputations to conserve the teeth.
